Join the celebrations in 2015 for the 40th Anniversary of China-EU Relations

1. February 18 to 22, Chinese Dance Drama Legend of the Sun at the National Theatre of Brussels.

2. April 15 to July 31, “China Unlimited” Creative Competition, organized by the Chinese Mission in cooperation with the College of Europe and Atlas International Culture.

3. April 23-27 and July 14-19, Chinese Health Qigong Week, co-organized by the Chinese Mission and Belgian Health Qigong Federation.

4. April 25, Chinese Dance Drama Dream of the Maritime Silk Road at Aula Magna, Louvain-la-Neuve.

5. May 6 to 17, Chinese Film Festival, organized by the Chinese and SARFT in cooperation with Cinéma Galeries in Brussels. Multiple award-winning films including ATA, Blind Massage, Brotherhood of Blades, No Man’s Land, the Fleet of the Times, Police Diary (To Live and Die in Ordos), The Great Hypnotist, Silent Witness will be screened.

6. May 6, reception marking the 40th Anniversary at the Berlaymont building, co-hosted by the Chinese Mission with the EEAS under the auspices of President Juncker of the EU Commission.

7. May 9, programmes of health Qigong, Chinese Kungfu and traditional Chinese music will be presented to the European public during the EU “Open Day”.

8. May 30, 2nd China-EU Table Tennis Tournament, organized by the Chinese Mission in cooperation with the EU Commission. Participants will include of Euroclub members, diplomats from the representations of EU member states in Brussels as well as Chinese diplomats, journalists, students and other expats.

9. June 5, “Act for Environment”, initiated by the Chinese Mission with the Women’s Federation of the Beijing Municipality. A selected group of Chinese students, in the capacity as environmental protection envoys will stage a musical drama in European School Brussels IV and join hand with their European peers to raise people’s environment awareness.

10. June 6, “Open Day” of the Chinese Mission to the EU in cooperation with the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. Chefs from China will present Sichuan style cuisine. Traditional Chinese doctors will demonstrate acupuncture and massage and share their health-care knowledge. Chinese calligraphy, tea ceremony and other cultural experience will also be presented.

11. Mid-July, Chinese Opera Canal will include Brussels in its European tour.

12. Late October, Chinese Fashion Week in Brussels.
