Wang Yi: Hoping Japan to Seriously Treat, Earnestly Follow and Implement the Four-Point Principled Agreement

On November 8, 2014, at the press conference after the 26th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial Meeting (AMM), Foreign Minister Wang Yi answered questions on meeting between Chinese and Japanese leaders at inquiry.

Wang Yi said that the Chinese side attaches importance to the willingness Japan expressed repeatedly. China's principled position on China-Japan relations is clear and consistent. Yesterday, China and Japan issued the four-point principled agreement on handling the major problems affecting the development of bilateral relations. China hopes the Japanese side to treat is seriously, earnestly follow it and implement it, so as to create a necessary and sound atmosphere for the meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
